Fairfax, Va. The George Mason women's tennis team fell this afternoon to the University of Delaware, 7-0. The Lady Netters fall to 4-9 on the season with James Madison heading to Fairfax for a CAA duel on Friday.

Delaware was able to sweep Mason but not without a fight. Freshmen Lindsay Gray and Stacey Berlinger led the Lady Netters at the No. 1 and 2 spots respectively, each falling in two sets. Julia Moscato faced off in a very competitive match against Delaware's Campbell before being defeated 6-4, 6-3. Freshman Aryn Christman reflected the strong competition of Moscato at the No. 5 position as she battled the Blue Hens Dragonette before falling 6-4, 6-2. Doubles play mimicked the results in singles as Delaware won each match.

Mason will host James Madison University on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Robinson Field Tennis Courts. The match with James Madison is the first of three home matches this weekend. On Saturday, Mount St. Mary's will head to Fairfax for a 2:15 p.m. match and Loyola will take the courts with Mason at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
