Fairfax, Va. The George Mason women's tennis team traveled to 9th ranked Mary Washington Saturday to face off against the Lady Eagles. Mason was without their No.1 player, Lindsay Gray, as she battled the flu. Mason played through though, but fell to Mary Washington by a score of 7-0.

Meredith Cutchin had a strong showing for Mason at the No. 6 position. She battled the Eagles Amy Sheetz for three sets before falling 6-2, 6-7(6), 10-7. Mary Washington was able to sweep all other singles matches in two sets. The Eagles also swept the doubles matches. Stacey Berlinger and Stephanie Longueria fell to Mary Washington's Rebecca Morse-Karzen and Natlie Fugate, 8-2, in the No. 1 doubles position.

The Lady Netters with an overall record of 2-3 will travel to Pittsburgh next weekend to take on the Panthers and also Duquesne.
