Laura Salichs joins the Patriots for her fourth season and is a returning starter on defense... Majoring in tourism and event management with a minor in the classics.

2006: Named first-team All-CAA and first-team All-Virginia after anchoring the Mason defense... Was named CAA Player of the week and was selected to the Soccer Buzz National Elite Team of the Week for the week ending Oct. 8... The Patriots had a pair of shutouts that week and she helped the Patriots to six shutouts on the season... Had three assists on the year, tied for third on the team... Started all 19 games for the Patriots... First assist of the year came in 4-1 win over Coastal Carolina, setting up Sarah Fack's game-winning goal at the 60-minute mark. Also had an assist in the next game, again setting up a game-winning goal by Rachel Wiggins, as Mason downed Georgetown, 2-0... Set up Rachel Wiggins' goal in the second minute in a 3-2 loss to William & Mary.

2005: Played in 18 games for Mason and started 17 of those contests... Did not play due to injury in Mason's 1-0 loss at Delaware (Oct. 21)... Took 15 shots on the season, had nine shots on goal, and recorded two goals on the year... Team was 2-0 when she scored... First goal came in 6-1 win over St. Joseph's (Sept. 6)... That goal came on first shot of the season... Second goal came against Northeastern in 6-5 win (Oct. 7)... Took season-high four shots with three of those on goal... Also took four shots in 2-0 win over Drexel (Oct. 23)... On the year, put 60 percent of shots on goal.

2004: Enjoyed a solid first season with the Patriots at defense... Saw action in 19 games, earning 11 starts... Registered two points... Attempted four shots... Scored first collegiate goal in 3-2 double-overtime win at Hofstra (10/15)...Appeared in nine conference contests with six starts... Took two shots... Member of a Patriots defensive unit that produced six shut outs... Recorded unbeaten home record against CAA opponents... Named a Mason scholar-athlete for her work in the classroom.

High School/Club: Earned four varsity letters at Milton High School... Selected to the Georgia High School All-Star team... Named to the All-AVUG girls team... Received post-season offensive MVP honors as a member of the Eagles... Earned Palmer Dodge Athlete of the Week accolades... Selected the Alpharetta-Roswell Revue & News Athlete of the Week...
