Men's Cross Country Open Season

Earlysville, Va. - The George Mason men's cross country team competed for the first time in 2005 as the Patriots ran at the Lou Onesty Invitational at Panorama Farms in Earlysville, Va. The meet, hosted by the University of Virginia, had nine schools competing as a team while Mason's runner competed as individuals.

Just pair of Patriots were on hand at the Onesty Invitational with John Crain finishing first among the two, completing the 8-kilometer course in a time of 27 minutes, 29.58 seconds. Ryan Davis was close on Crain's heels, finishing the run in 28:04.42.

The Patriots are in action once again this Saturday, with Mason competing at the James Madison Invitational at New Market Battlefield.
