Dave DeRocher enters his first season as an assistant coach at George Mason under head coach Fred Chao. DeRocher previously coached in the women's game, working with the Tennessee State University women's program during the 2000 season. DeRocher played volleyball at the University of Southern California, where he was part of the Trojans 1990 National Championship team. During his collegiate career, he earned All-Tournament honors at the Clash of the Titans and IPFW Classic tournaments. He graduated from USC in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in business marketing. A native of Ocean City, N.J., DeRocher currently resides in Ashburn, Va. with his wife Mandy and their three children, David Neil, 4, Olivia, 2, and Shelby, 1. |
