FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason men's and women's track and field teams will host their final meet of the indoor season on Sunday at the Fieldhouse. The Mason Last Chance is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. with the women's long jump. The running events are slated to start an hour later with the men's and women's distance medley relays. The final event of the day, the men's 4x400-meter relay, is slotted for a 3:50 p.m. start.

Sunday's meet will be the final chance for athletes to qualify for the upcoming IC4A/ECAC Championships, as well as the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. The IC4A/ECAC Championships will take place on March 8-9 in Boston, Mass., while the NCAA Championships are scheduled for March 14-15 in Fayetteville, Ark.

The Patriots have hosted two home meets already during the indoor season, but it has been a little over a month since they last performed in front of the home crowd at the Fieldhouse. Mason hosted the Father Diamond Invitational on Jan. 5 and the Patriot Games on Jan. 26.

The meet is free and open to the public. A full schedule of the day's events can be found on GoMason.com.
