Men's Tennis loses to James Madison

April 9, 2007

The JMU men's tennis team swept the George Mason Patriots in a home match on Tuesday, April 3 at James Madison. The Dukes won 7-0 and all but one match was decided in straight sets.

The Patriots Jay Friedman lost his No. 3 singles match in a tie break 6-3, 3-6 (10-3) against the Dukes Mike Smith. In doubles action, Friedman and Jordan Lipstock's No. 1 match was the most competitive, losing 8-6.
