George Mason is Blanked by Radford, 7-0

Fairfax, Va--The Patriots tennis team was defeated 7-0, losing to Radford on Friday at the George Mason Tennis Courts. Four of the six singles matches were won by the Highlanders in straight sets, two through five singles.

The Patriots top singles player Tito Ballester won the first set 6-4, lost the second 7-5 and lost the tiebreaker 10-7. Eric Vogel, playing in the sixth position also won his first set 7-5, but lost the second set 6-0 and the tiebreaker 10-6.

In doubles action, the top doubles team of Ballester and Bainton defeated Radford's team of Johnson and Dominic Soeur, 9-7. The Patriots lost the other two matches to lose the point.
