Men's Tennis Drops Match 5-0 to Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-The George Mason men's tennis team lost 5-0 to Navy Saturday afternoon at the Severn Valley Tennis Club. Mason drops to 0-6, while Navy's record improves to 5-3 on the year.

Navy's top two singles each lost only one game to Mason's top two singles as Nate Nelms defeated Stas Budagov 6-1, 6-0 and the Midshipman's Jason Hill defeated Dan Schneider 6-0, 6-1 in the #2 singles match. Mason's Jay Friedman lost his #3 singles match to Adrian Lai, 6-2, 6-3 and Jordan Lipstock lost 6-3, 7-5 in the #4 singles match to Stanley Kahl.

The doubles team of Kyle Jones and Luke Albi won the only doubles match, 6-2, 6-2, to finish the scoring for the Midshipmen.

Mason will be back in action on Sunday, February 25 against William and Mary
