Carlos Bracho Position: Assistant Coach

Carlos Bracho enters his second year as an assistant coach for the Mason tennis team. Bracho is originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela where he was a former top 10 junior in singles and doubles.

Carlos comes to Mason from the Van Der Meer Tennis Academy in Hilton Head Island, where he served three years as a tennis professional working with top ranked juniors. In addition, he worked as a hitting partner in WTA tournaments for players, Ai Sugiyama and Aniko Kapros.

Bracho attended Mars Hill College in North Carolina where he graduated in 2004 with a B.S.in Computer Science with minors in Business Administration and Webmaster. He was named First Team All-Conference Player for three years, and three times MVP for Mars Hill College.

Carlos is currently working on a master's degree in telecommunications at George Mason, and at the same time assistant coaching both men's and women's tennis teams.
