2004-05: At the CAA Championships, placed 13th in both the 100 and 200 fly with times of 52.05 and 1:57.33, respectively.

2002-03: Improved to 53.51 in the 100 fly and swam a lifetime best in the 200 fly (2:00.16) at CAA Championships.

Prep: Four year varsity letterwinner in swimming...played football for one year and lacrosse for two seasons...named to the first team all-district senior year.

Personal: Born Oct. 1, 1984...son of Chuck and Kathy Merrill...has two younger siblings, Amy and David...majoring in IT.
