The George Mason men's golf team claimed second place along with host Princeton as the three-round Princeton Invitational finished today. St. John's had a seven stroke lead on Mason going into the final round and held off the Patriots and Tigers to win by four stokes on the par 71, 6,390 yard course.

Senior Clark Bixler finished in the Top 10 overall with a three round three-over par 216. He was five stokes off leader Keegan Bradley from St. John's going into today's round and both shot 75 to keep the distance at five strokes. Keegan's teammate Evan Beirne shot a 73 to share medalist honors.

Mason's Tyler Frank and J.J. Amoruso shot four-over par 76s today to finished tied for 17th and 19th respectively. The Patriots Marshall Tinsley shot the best round for Mason today with a three-over par 74 and finished tied for 32nd overall. Greg Brouse finished with 231 for the three rounds (73-77-80).

Mason will play in the CAA Championship this weekend.
