Men's Golf Finishes Bradford Creek Intercollegiate in Ninth Place

Greenville, N.C.--George Mason University's men's golf team completed competition at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate Saturday afternoon in Greenville, N.C. and placed ninth, out of 15 teams, with a three round team total of 895.

Nick DeSimone led the Patriots as he tied for 13th after firing off a 220, while Mike Kirby tied for 26th (224). Daniel Hurley and Mike Cavanagh both tied for 40th with a three-round score of 227, while J.J. Amoruso rounded out Mason's athletes with a 238 (T-71st).

Akron won the event after tallying a team score of 872, which included both the first and second place finishers in Vaughn Snyder (211) and David Addison (212), respectively.

The Patriots will return to action when they compete at the Princeton Invitational April 8-9 in Princeton, N.J.
