Men's Golf is Currently in Fourth at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate

Greenville, N.C.--George Mason University's men's golf team is currently in fourth place, out of 16 teams, after the first round of the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate Friday afternoon.

The Patriots' Mike Kirby and Nick DeSimone are both tied for 14th after firing off a 71 in the first round, while Mike Cavanagh is tied for 22nd with a one round score of 72. Daniel Hurley is tied for 26th (73) and J.J. Amoruso rounds out Mason's competitiors tied for 39th with a 75.

Host school East Carolina leads the way as the Pirates have fired off a 282, in comparison to Mason's team score of 287.

The Patriots are completing the second round Friday and will finish out competition at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate Saturday afternoon.
