Liu won the Bobby Memorial Junior Golf Tournament played July 12-15 at Springfield Golf and Country Club.
The Herndon, native shot a 75 in stroke play on the par 71, 6,249-yard course. The round qualified him for match play as the number 14 seed. Liu won six straight matches, two each day, in match play to take medalist honors in the 16-17 year-old division championship.
