Mason Offers New Benefits For Season Ticket Accounts

FAIRFAX, Va. - Season tickets for George Mason basketball are on sale now for the 2008-2009 season. George Mason University has partnered with Ticketmaster to bring its season ticket holders the latest in online ticketing technology.

Fans will now be able to manage their season ticket account online with My Mason Nation Account. This new system will enable fans to get even more out of their season ticket investment. Among the features available with a My Mason Nation Account:

* Forward your tickets to friends via E-mail 
* Post your tickets for sale 
* Make payments online 
* Update your account profile

My Mason Nation Account

An account ID or e-mail address and a PIN are needed to access your account. Current season ticket holders should have received their account information in the mail. New season ticket holders will receive their necessary account info from the ticket office after making an initial deposit.

The cost of 2008-2009 men's basketball season tickets will be based on the number of home games at the Patriot Center. An initial payment of $50 per seat for your 2008-09 season tickets is due by August 1. Season ticket holders that made a three-year commitment last year do not need to place a deposit at this time. Once the schedule is finalized, all patrons will receive an invoice for the remaining balance of their season tickets.

Mason is currently accepting $50 deposits on new season ticket accounts. Deposits can be made by calling the Mason Athletic Ticket Office at (703) 993-3270.

George Mason set a school record in 2007-2008 by attracting over 90,000 fans to its men's basketball games. The Patriots finished 23-11 and earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament after winning the CAA Tournament.
