Ryan Pearson enters his third season with the Patriots and is a returning starter in the frontcourt... Has excellent back-to-the-basket moves and is adept at getting to the free throw line.

2009-10: Led the team in rebounding was second in scoring and steals... Has four double-doubles on the season... Scored in double figures with eight rebounds in Mason's first three games before being held to five points and one rebound against Georgia Tech and then two points and three rebounds against Indiana... Set career high with three assists at Tulane... Had team-high 14 points and eight rebounds at UNCW while also handing out two assists with two steals... Had 17 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high four steals vs. Creighton... Had 16 points and tied career high with 13 rebounds against VMI... Had 17 points, eight rebounds and two steals, all team-highs, in win over Old Dominion... Had 17 points, four boards and two steals against Hofstra including 7 of 9 from the free throw line... Had career-high 20 points and 10 rebounds at Northeastern... Had career-high four assists at James Madison... Had 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes at Hofstra... Had four assists to go with 12 points and nine rebounds at Towson... Had 13 points and eight rebounds at Georgia State and followed that up with 12 points, nine rebounds and two blocks at Drexel... Set a new career high with 22 points against VCU in the CAA Tournament.. Closed the season with 16 points against Fairfield.

2008-09: Selected to the CAA All-Rookie Team... Played 32 of 33 games with one start as a freshman, missing lone contest due to injury... Finished the season fifth on the team in scoring, fourth in rebounding and third in field-goal percentage... Averaged 7.0 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 48.8 percent from the field in just 17.1 minutes per game... Scored in double figures nine times... Twice named CAA Rookie of the Week... Scored 13 points on 5 of 7 shooting with six rebounds in career-high 30 minutes in collegiate debut at Vermont (11/15)... Had 14 points in just 15 minutes against Mount St. Mary's (11/25)... Followed that up with 13 points against Ohio (11/29)... Had first collegiate double-double with 12 points and career-high 13 rebounds against Tulane (12/22)... Also scored in double figures against UNC Wilmington (1/3) and James Madison (1/17)... Had career-high 18 points in 21 minutes at Old Dominion (1/31) on 8 of 10 shooting from the field... Followed that up with 16 points and five rebounds against Hofstra (2/3).

High School: Earned varsity letters in basketball at Christ the King High School... As a senior, averaged 25 points, 12 rebounds and three assists... Named All-State and All-City as a senior... Was the co-MVP of the Jordan Classic Regional All-Star Game at Madison Square Garden after scoring 36 points to go with 15 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in a two-point loss... As a junior, scored 10 ppg and grabbed 6.5 rebounds per game.
