Cam Long finished his first season with the Patriots and will challenge for quality minutes in the back court as a sophomore... Is a fundamentally sound player who does a tremendous job on the offensive boards... Does a good job distributing the ball and can hit the outside shot when left open... Major is undecided.

2007-08: Appeared in all 34 games for the Patriots with four starts... First collegiate start came at Delaware, going 3 for 3 from the field... Second career start came against Northeastern with 12 points, three rebounds and three assists... Started in place of an injured John Vaughan at Drexel with six points in 18 minutes... Had multiple career highs against South Carolina... Played 26 minutes with 13 points, four rebounds and five assists against South Carolina along with three steals, one block and five field goals... Also had two 3-pointers in the contest... Against Villanova, had a then-career-high seven points... Had six points, two rebounds and an assist in 19 minutes at James Madison, going 3 for 4 from the field... Had first career point on a free throw against Cleveland State and first career basket against Dayton... Had first career 3-pointer against nationally-ranked Kansas State... Had rebounds against Vermont, Cleveland State and Kansas State... Had a steal against Kansas State... Had first career assists against Villanova with a career-high two rebounds... As a senior, averaged 18.9 points, six assists, seven rebounds and two steals per game... Scored a career-high 37 points in the Northwest Region Championship game... As a junior, averaged 18 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals... Earned a spot on the AB Honor Roll.

Rendell played football at Florida State from 1992-1993... A 2007 graduate of Freedom High School in Woodbridge, Va.... Graduated with a 3.0 grade-point average... Also recruited by Virginia Tech, George Washington, Virginia, Wake Forest, Old Dominion, Richmond and VCU.
