2009-10: Selected to the CAA All-Rookie Team... Named a Mid-Major Freshman All-American... George Mason Student-Athlete of the Month in November... Had a bigger impact than any of Mason's first-year players... Basketball Prospectus named him one of the nation's top 25 freshmen (so far) in early January... Named CAA Rookie of the Week on Nov. 16 and Co-Rookie of the Week on Nov. 23... Was top 10 in the CAA in freshmen scoring, rebounding and assists... Has twice flirted with triple-doubles, first against Georgia Tech with eight points, nine rebounds and seven assists, then against Indiana with nine points, eight rebounds and eight assists... Had career-highs in back-to-back games with 14 points at Tulane and 15 points at George Washington... Had 11 points including four of the final five points in Mason's 75-72 win over Creighton, going 9 of 10 from the line... Put Mason ahead in the final minute with an offensive rebound and putback against VMI, then blocked a potential game-tying 3-pointer... Had nine points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals in 33 minutes against VCU... Had seven points and seven assists against William & Mary... Had 10 points, six rebounds and five assists against College of Charleston... Became the first Mason player since Terry Reynolds in January 2004 to have 11 assists in a game when he reached that total against Fairfield... High School: Played high school basketball at Hidden Valley High School before spending a year at Hargrave Military Academy playing for Kevin Keatts... Earned All-State honors while at Hidden Valley and was named to the All-Tournament Team while playing in the National Prep Tournament... Played in the Virginia Senior All-Star game.
