Annual Golf Outing Scheduled for Oct. 3

The 8th Annual George Mason Baseball Golf Classic will take place on Friday, October 3 at South Riding Golf Club with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. The day includes a clinic and driver demo as well as three contests for contestants.

The format for the event is a four-person captain's choice and it is $150 per person and $600 per foursome. Awards will go to the top three foursomes and there will also be several contest holes. Other contests include Longest Drive, Closest to Pin and Double Your Money. All proceeds will benefit the George Mason University Baseball Program.

The day will begin at Noon with registration and at 12:30 p.m. there will be a clinic with instructors from the John O'Leary Golf Academy. The Zelocity Launch Monitor will be set up on the range where the long drive contest will take place.

This year there are sponsorship opportunities available that include lunch sponsor, longest drive sponsor, Closest to pin sponsor, double your money sponsor, range ball sponsor, beverage cart sponsor and tee sponsor.
