Bour Picks Up Another National Honor

Justin Bour, the Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week and CAA Player of the Week picked up another honor on Tuesday as he was named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Pro-Line Athletic National Player of the Week.

Bour, who is earning nationally recognition for his achievements last week, is the fifth player honored this year. He will receive a plaque from Pro-Line for earning the honor.

Bour was 10 of 20 last week with seven home runs, 19 RBI, nine runs scored and a 1.650 slugging percentage. He set school record for RBI in a game (nine), grand slams in a game (tie), grand slams in a season (three) and consecutive multi-homer games (three). He also tied a school record with three home runs in a game.

The freshman left-handed first baseman will help lead the Patriots against George Washington on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Arlington, Va.
