March 1, 2005

George Mason's baseball home opener, originally scheduled for March 2 at 2:30 p.m. against University Maryland-Baltimore County has been postponed due to field conditions. The snow that fell over Fairfax on Monday has left Spuhler Field unplayable for Wednesday's contest. The game has been rescheduled for Monday, April 4 at 3 p.m.

The Patriots anticipate being able to open up their home schedule on Friday, March 4 when they are slated to face Fordham University at 2:30 p.m. That is the first of a three-game set that last all weekend.

The George Mason baseball team is currently 3-3 on the season.
