FAIRFAX, Va. - Wednesday afternoon's baseball game between the George Mason Patriots and the Marist Red Foxes has been cancelled due to heavy rain.

Mason returns to action on Friday when it opens up a three-game home series against Northeastern at Spuhler Field. The series, which was originally scheduled for Boston but shifted due to expected inclement weather, will kick off Friday at 2:30 p.m., and continue at 2 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
