Aaron Tenney enters his first season of eligibility for Mason after redshirting in 2007... Will challenge for a starting position in the infield.

2007: Appeared in three games before suffering a season-ending injury.. Earned a medical redshirt and season won't count toward his eligibility... Was 2 for 5 on the year with a pair of RBI and a pair of runs... First appearance came against Charleston Southern (Feb. 24) with a pair of walks and a run scored... Second appearance came against Coppin State (March 6) when he went 2 for 4 with two RBI and a run scored... Also took the field against Hofstra (March 10) going 0 for 1.

Prep: Earned six varsity letters at Tabb High School, three in baseball and three in track... Was first-team All-District three times, first-team All-Region twice and second-team All-State twice... Also selected team's Best Hitter twice.

Personal: Full name is Aaron David Tenney... Parents are Tammy and Bruce Tenney... Has two sisters, Rebecca, 20, and Melanie, 14... Born April 20, 1988... A 2006 graduate of Tabb High School... Was a member of the National Honor Society... Also recruited by VMI, Radford, Virginia Wesleyan and Eastern Mennonite... Hobbies include baseball and working out... Major is civil engineering.
