Aaron Tenney enters his fourth season at Mason and third on the field after redshirting in 2007... Will challenge for a playing time at third, in the outfield and at designated hitter.

2009: Took the field 10 times and made one start... Hit .364 with two RBI and three runs scored... Had a .462 on-base percentage... Lone start came against Lehigh (3/15) going 0 for 2... Had an RBI against Ohio State (2/28)... Had first hit of the season with a double against William & Mary (3/28)... Had a single and a run scored against George Washington (4/7)... Had an RBI single against Liberty (4/8)... Final appearance came against Hofstra (4/26) going 1 for 1 with a walk and a run scored.

2008 Appeared in 19 games for the Patriots with 12 starts at designated hitter... Hit .200 with five RBI and nine runs scored. Had a .343 on-base percentage and was 4 for 8 on the base paths... Was 2 for 4 with an RBI, a run and a double at College of Charleston on Feb. 23... Was 2 for 4 with a run scored on March 4 against George Washington... Had two hits and a steal on March 15 against Georgia State... Also stole a base on March 18 against Marist... Scored two runs and had a steal on April 8 at George Washington... Had a steal against James Madison on April 19... In season's final appearance on April 29, was 1 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored against Georgetown.

2007: Appeared in three games before suffering a season-ending injury.. Earned a medical redshirt and season won't count toward his eligibility... Was 2 for 5 on the year with a pair of RBI and a pair of runs... First appearance came against Charleston Southern (Feb. 24) with a pair of walks and a run scored... Second appearance came against Coppin State (March 6) when he went 2 for 4 with two RBI and a run scored... Also took the field against Hofstra (March 10) going 0 for 1.

Prep: Earned six varsity letters at Tabb High School, three in baseball and three in track... Was first-team All-District three times, first-team All-Region twice and second-team All-State twice... Also selected team's Best Hitter twice.

Personal: Full name is Aaron David Tenney... Parents are Tammy and Bruce Tenney... Has two sisters, Rebecca and Melanie... Born April 20, 1988... A 2006 graduate of Tabb High School...
