T.J. O'Grady enters his fifth and final season with the Patriots.. Is expected to pitch out of the bullpen.
2010: Appeared in 10 games with a 1-1 record... Threw 11 and one-third innings and finished the season with a 9.53 ERA... Held George Washington scoreless (3/24) and struck out a season-high two in the process... Gave up a hit and two walks in one-third of an inning against James Madison (3/27) but was unscored upon... Pitched two dominant innings to pick up the win against Maryland (4/6) allowing no baserunners... Pitched a scoreless inning at Coppin State (4/14)... Took the loss at Virginia (4/21), which was ranked among the top 5 in the nation... Held right-handed batters to a .176 batting average... Averaged 7.15 strikeouts per nine innings.
2009: Made just one appearance for the Patriots before suffering a season-ending injury to his pitching elbow... Pitched one-third of a perfect inning against UNC Asheville (2/21) in a 7-1 win.
2008: Appeared in 17 games and put together a 1-1 record with one save and a 6.00 ERA. Pitched 21 innings with 15 strikeouts and nine walks allowed... Allowed just 24 hits in 21 innings and held the opposition to a .300 batting average... Earned lone win on March 9 going one-third of an inning against VCU... Picked up lone save on March 11 at Longwood pitching the ninth inning allowing one hit and one strikeout... Had five appearances with multiple strikeouts, including three in one and one-third innings against nationally-ranked UNC Wilmington on May 3... Held Liberty to no runs and two hits in three innings with two strikeouts... From March 18 through May 22, a span of 10 games, put together a 3.07 ERA over 14.2 innings, allowing 14 hits, five walks and 10 strikeouts while holding the opposition to a .264 batting average.
2007: Appeared in 18 games, second-most on the team... Was second on the squad with one save... Had a 2-0 mark with one save in 21 and one-third innings or work... Put together a 7.17 ERA despite holding opponents to a .317 batting average... Had nine outings without allowing a run... Allowed an earned run in just one of five road appearances... Struck out a batter in 10 appearances... Was dominant in nine non-conference appearances, pitching 11 and two-third innings with a 2-0 mark and a 3.86 ERA... Had lone save out of conference and held opponents to a .250 batting average... First win came in 12-10 victory over Navy (March 20)... Recorded first collegiate save against Georgetown (April 3) going two and two-third innings... Second win came in 18-16 victory over Temple, going one inning and allowing just one hit.
