Entering his second season with the Patriots and will be either a mid-week starter or work out of the bullpen.
2010: Started five games and made three appearances in relief putting together a 1-1 record over 18 and two-third innings of work... Made first career start against Winthrop (2/20) taking the loss in an 11-4 decision... Also started against Richmond (3/23), Liberty (3/30), Maryland (4/6) and Coppin State (4/14)... First career victory was at Coppin State, allowing just one earned run in four innings of work... Struck out a career-high three against Richmond and went career-high four innings against Maryland and Coppin State... With two outs, held the opposition to a .200 average... Closed the season by going 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA in final five appearances.
High School: Earned two letters in baseball and two in lacrosse at Seneca Valley High School... Named first-team All-Conference in baseball as a senior... Had a 7-1 record with a 2.65 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 44 and one-third innings... Also allowed just 19 hits and 22 walks with five complete games.
Personal: Full name is Nicholas Kendrick... Parents are Sherry and Scott Kendrick... Born November 4, 1990... Has two siblings, Brent and Hannah... A 2009 graduate of Seneca Valley High School... Named to the Honor Roll sophomore through senior years... Also recruited by Maryland, Penn State, Putt, Duquesne and Miami (Ohio)... Intends to major in biology.
