Chris Henderson enters his second season at Mason and is expected to start either in the outfield or behind the plate... Is one of the toughest outs in Mason's lineup and has the ability to foul off balls until he gets the pitch he's looking for... Solid hitter to all fields.

2007: Was one of four Mason players to hit better than .350 and finished the season fourth on the team in hits and on-base percentage... Third on the team in walks and doubles... Named second-team All-CAA at utility and was selected to the CAA All-Rookie Team... Finished the year batting .351 with one home runs, 27 RBI, 16 doubles, 68 hits, 38 runs, 21 walks and a .423 on-base percentage... Committed just one error and had a .994 fielding percentage... Had 17 multi-hit games and compiled a 12-game hitting streak... Opened the season strong with a .421 batting average in first 10 games and closed the season hitting .412 in final 10 games.

Prep: Earned seven varsity letters at Cherokee High School, four in baseball and three in football... As a senior, was first-team All-State, All-South Jersey, All-Conference and All-County... As a junior, was All-South Jersey, All-Conference and All-County... Also named third-team All-State in football as well as All-South Jersey, All-Conference and All-County... Was two-year captain in both baseball and football... As a junior, helped team to South Jersey title while batting .468 with 10 home runs and 45 RBI...
