2007: Appeared in 17 games with five starts for the Patriots and was third on the team in ERA... Was 2-1 on the year with a 5.89 ERA and just eight walks in 44.1 innings pitched... Did not allow more than two earned runs in an appearance through first 15 games... Allowed 13 earned runs in final two appearances as ERA rose from 3.86 to 5.89... Had terrific relief outing on March 25 allowing just two runs, one earned in five and one-third innings... Picked up first collegiate win on April 13 with no runs in two-thirds of an inning in relief... Had best outing of the season against Chicago State allowing five hits, one walk and no earned runs in seven innings while striking out five... Allowed just one extra-base hit in that appearance, picking up his second win... Was 1-0 with a 4.44 ERA as a reliever holding opponents to a .295 batting average.

Prep: Earned six varsity letters at South Carroll High School, three in baseball and three in basketball... Was selected All-Conference as both a senior and a junior... Compiled a 0.93 career earned run average and had a 0.64 ERA as a junior.
