2010 Outdoor: Ran the 800-meters in 1:53.89 at the Mason Spring Invitational, his season best ... Also competed in the 4x400 and 4x800 relays, including the IC4A 4x800 qualifier of 7:34.01 at the Penn Relays ... Ran as part of the distance medley relay at the Colonial Relay.
2010 Indoor: Showed his versatility by competing in five different events during the indoor season for the Patriots... Ran the mile for the first time in his career, clocking in at 4:33.82 at the Patriot Games... Member of the Patriots' 4x800-meter relay team that qualified for the IC4A Championships with a time of 7:45.10 at the Father Diamond Invitational.
2009 Outdoor: Posted a season-best of 50.34 in the 400-meter dash at the Onesty/Abramson Invitational (Apr. 11) and 1:52.95 in the 800-meter run at the UVA Spring Swashbuckle (Mar. 21).
2009 Indoor: Ran the team's fastest time in the 600-meter dash during the season with a time of 1:21.60 at the VT Challenge... Top time in the 500-meter dash was 1:06.12 for a first-place finish at the Mason Last Chance meet... Ran a time of 2:00.31 in the 800-meter run at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational... Member of the 4x400-meter relay team that qualified for the IC4A Championships with a time of 3:16.40 at the VT Challenge... Member of the distance medley relay team that crossed the finish line in 10:15.41 at the VT Hokie Invitational to qualify for the IC4A Championships... Finished in first place in the 4x800-meter relay at the Father Diamond Invitational with a time of 7:56.57... Finished in second place with a time of 3:30.96 in the 4x400-meter relay at the Mason Last Chance meet.
2008 Cross Country: Gained valuable experience participating in daily practice sessions but did not compete at a meet.
Prep: Earned four letters in cross country and track at Cedar Crest High School... Also competed in wrestling for one year and winter track for four years... Holds the 800-meter record in District III of the Lebanon-Lancaster region... Also earned All-Star honors from the Lebanon-Lancaster League... Was the top point scorer on the track team.
Personal: Parents are Carla and Steve Troxell... Has two siblings, Dave and Jen... Also recruited by La Salle, East Carolina and Rhode Island... Major is undeclared.
