Men's and Women's Swimming Teams Both Finish Second at the Potomac Relay Invitational

Results

Washington, D.C. - The George Mason men's and women's swimming and diving team started its 2010-2011 season today at the Potomac Relay Invitational, hosted by American University. Towson University, Georgetown University, George Washington University, Howard Bison, and the University of Mary Washington were the other schools to compete along with George Mason and American. The event took place at American's Reeves Aquatic Center and was relay-only.

Both Mason teams finished in second place with the men's team scoring 74 points and the women's team receiving 72 points. Georgetown won the men's side with 114 points and Towson won the women's side with 126 points.

The Patriots return to action next Saturday at home against Navy and Loyola at 11 a.m.
