2009-10: Finished sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.92), 10th in the 100-yard freestyle (51.91) and 11th in the 50-yard freestyle (23.88) at the CAA Championships ... Also swam in Mason's second-place 400-yard freestyle relay (3:24.25), third-place 200-yard medley relay (1:42.16), sixth-place 200-yard freestyle relay (1:34.83) as well as the 400-yard medley relay.
Prep: Swam two years with the CCA Marlins while completing academics at home and at Virginia Western Community College.
Personal: Parents are Laura and Thomas Holmgaard ... Has two siblings, Emory and Isaac ... Was also recruited by Virginia Tech, East Carolina, and UNC Wilmington ... Will major in athletic training.
