Gunston - The George Mason Mascot
March 11, 2008
Gunston, George Mason University's mascot, first appeared on December 12, 1995 in a men's basketball game against Ohio State, and has been entertaining Patriot fans ever since.
With his out-of-this-world dance moves and enthusiasm for Mason Athletics, Gunston is the Patriots' most recognized and biggest fan, soaking in all of what George Mason University has to offer.
Gunston is named after Gunston Hall, the home of a true Patriot -- George Mason.
