HOSPITALITY ROOM PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
The Patriot Club has worked with area restaurants and catering companies to provide complimentary catering services for our sports' programs at George Mason University for many years. A primary component of this involves our home Men's Basketball games played at the Patriot Center. Given the resounding performance of our Men's Basketball team over the past few years, coupled with several of our other teams and individuals making NCAA appearances, one of the programs the Patriot Club is eager to build upon its Hospitality Room Partnership Program. By allowing current partners to continue their relationship as well as inviting new entities to join in the excitement of George Mason University Athletics the Patriot Club will continue to broaden the scope of Patriot Club partners.
The Patriot Club is looking to supplement its existing support by inviting new restaurants and catering companies to provide the food service for Men's Basketball games in either of our two hospitality rooms during the 2007-2008 season.
The purpose of the Patriot Club's Hospitality Room Partnership Program is twofold:
- Serve as a fun, yet professional setting for pre-game spirit gatherings before our Men's Basketball games held at the Patriot Center; and
- Allow current caterers the right to select the game they would like to cater, while inviting new restaurants and catering companies to share in the partnership benefits associated with George Mason University athletics.
Website Advertising - Restaurant and/or catering company will be listed and receive limitless exposure to diverse audiences as it is noted on the official website for George Mason Athletics, www.gomason.com.
Printed Materials - Restaurant and/or catering company will be listed in the George Mason University Athletic Department's Visitors' Guide that is distributed to all visiting teams and coaches in the CAA. Additionally, your restaurant can be distinguished as a "Preferred Restaurant" or "Preferred Catering Company" if you supplement your catering with a cash donation, or other services, to the Patriot Club.
Signage - Restaurant and/or catering company is permitted to display signage in the hospitality room in which it caters. Recognition - Restaurant and/or catering company will be announced during the basketball game that it caters, and be listed in that game's press notes.
New Traffic Flow in Northern Virginia - The CAA Conference directly affects the visibility of George Mason University, along with the friends and corporations associated thereto. With the CAA geographic territory now extending from Boston to North Atlanta, George Mason University will continuously experience a heavy and diverse influx of traffic throughout the year.
Trade Out Value - Each restaurant and/or catering company participating in the Hospitality Room Partnership Program will receive a trade out for the Green Coat Society (downstairs) Room and the Gold (upstairs) Room. The restaurant will determine the value.
Business-to-Business Contacts - Numerous George Mason University events held annually afford the opportunity to interact with local and national business leaders. Additional business and catering opportunities are endless with such a large number of other departments and schools within George Mason University whom all hold a wide-range of their own events throughout the year.
Additional Partnership Benefits - 6 tickets for the game that you cater, 1 parking pass, and Patriot Club Membership at either the $1,000 or $1,500 level.
