35th Annual Patriot Club Fall Golf Outing

Another Successful Year for the Annual Patriot Club Fall Golf Outing!

On Monday, September 13, 2010, the Patriot Club hosted the 35th Annual Fall Golf Outing sponsored by Siemens Building Technologies at Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, Virginia. This year's event raised approximately $41,000 for the George Mason University Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund.

Patriot Club members, corporate sponsors and Mason administrators made up the field who competed in support of Mason Athletics. The outing began with lunch and an afternoon shotgun, followed by the silent auction and cocktail hour with music provided by a quartet of Green Machine members. Dinner and the awards ceremony concluded the day. Additionally, various local businesses and patrons donated raffle prizes that were given away to lucky ticket holders.

At the event, strong support from the entire University and the Mason athletic department was evident. A number of the senior members of the George Mason University administration, members of the senior athletic staff, and members of the Patriot Club Advisory Board joined the field. Additional thanks were extended to Brion's Grille as the outing lunch sponsor, Monumental Sports & Entertainment as the golf cart sponsor, and Guiffre Distributing, the hospitality cart sponsor.

Prizes and awards were given to the top three foursomes and each contest hole winner.
